Disk Pulse 11.8

Monitor and log changes to hard disks and directories
11.8.16 (See all)

Disk Pulse is a free tool to help you keep an eye on what is going on in your computer in real time. It will show you every process and file that has been accessed and why, telling you at what time this happened, the operation that was performed, and the name of the file or files involved. The program also categorizes the results using the filter of your choice.

With Disk Pulse you will know at any given time which processes are taking place and which files and programs are taking part in these processes. As a fully customizable tool, this program can tell you as much or as little as you wish to know, allowing you to filter which events will be shown and which ignored. Among others, this application can record changes in file names, file sizes, file attributes, directory names, access and creation times, etc. Its user-friendly interface will use a clever color code to classify each even type, and will categorize them according to your preferred criteria – extension, change type, file type, user name, etc.

This extremely useful monitoring tool can also create reports and backups of the data shown. These can be saved as HTML, plain text, CSV, and – provided that you have acquired either the Pro or the Ultimate version of this tool - in either DiskPulse or SQL format.
